Ask, and it shall be given you; seek and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
Matthew 7:7-8 KJV
Scripture Insight
Beloved praying will get us results that wishing could only fathom. What is not worth asking for is not worth receiving. Scripture says ask and it shall be given; our Father wants us to have our hearts desire, providing that we are asking with a pure heart and clear conscience. Seek and you shall find; if we fervently seek GOD with all of our heart we will find him waiting for us, and those of us who find him will have all they need in this world. Knock and it shall be open; the doors of grace and mercy shall be open to us the Children of GOD because His love for us is eternal.
Parents tend to supply their children with what they ask for, even when what they are asking for may not be what they need. We will go to great lengths to provide for our children things they don't need before we give them the things they do. We do this under the umbrella of love, not realizing the harm this may have on our relationship with them in the future. "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:19 The wisdom of GOD in this verse of scripture reveals to us that He knows what we need, and it will all be supplied through Christ Jesus. When parents are in a covenant relationship with Christ Jesus we will operate in discernment thereby providing our children the essential and eternal things that matter and less of the material things of this world.
The Word of GOD states at the end of Philippians 4:19; "according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." Christ came not only to redeem mankind but to teach us what we are to know, believe and to do as children of GOD; and how we are to fellowship with one another as a family of believers and commune with GOD. If we were to exercise our faith by asking GOD, seeking GOD and knocking at the heart of GOD then the heavenly things shall be open for us to receive. GOD is faithful to His Word, He will pour out a blessing that there will not be room enough to receive; and we ought to adopt the same mindset of supplying the heavenly things to our natural children.

We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain. 2(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.) 3Giving no offense in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed.
2 Corinthians 6:1-3 KJV
Scripture Insight
The Gospel is the Word of Grace to the ear of the believer, hearing it and not believing or complying with it is taking the Word of GOD in vain. We the Children of GOD have been assigned to do the work for the glory of GOD; to be His instruments for winning souls through our faith in the Lord Christ Jesus.
Now is the day of salvation, today is the proper season to accept the grace that is offered, for we know not what tomorrow will have instore for us. Our lives should be living examples of the Grace of GOD, and not so offensive to others that we bring blame to Ministry and render it unsuccessful.
As servants of The Most High GOD, we must examine ourselves in every aspect of our life; then ask ourselves the question does my Spiritual Character measure up with my daily actions. The Word of Truth and the Power of GOD is our greatest weapons against the systems of this world.
The Children of GOD must operate in GOD's grace through the righteousness and holiness of His Son Christ Jesus. His ways are our best defense against the temptation of seeking worldly prosperity on the right hand, and for combating adversity on the left. We should always speak encouraging words of GOD's truth; they are the badge of honor for the Saint; will administer Grace and richly bless those who receive with an open heart.

Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom. But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.
James 3:13-14 KJV
Scripture Insight
A naturally wise person is a knowing person. They will not value themselves merely on knowing things if they have not the wisdom to apply this knowledge. If we consider ourselves to be wiser than others, there has to be evidence through our actions and our conversation, and certainly not by our display of arrogant behavior or the superior abrasive opinion of this knowledge.
Spiritual wisdom is shown when the Child of GOD displays actions of meekness and temperament. When we look at the life Christ Jesus we see in His actions the greatest example and embodiment of Wisdom. His display of wisdom does not share the same heart with that of envy and strife.
Holy zeal and zest verses bitter envy and strife are in direct conflict with one another, they are total opposites, such as day is from night, or for a better choice heaven compared to hell. Spiritual wisdom is a gift given by GOD, manifested by GOD and ordained by GOD and there is no other method in which it can be achieved.
Spiritual wisdom brings with it maturity; it is not gained through knowledge gained in this world, as some people may believe; this gift is granted from our Father above. Spiritual wisdom will always show acts of righteousness in place of rebellion, truth instead deception and love at all situations. When we walk in this gift we shall reap the blessings and benefits of being a Child of the Most High GOD.

Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice. And the heavens shall declare his righteousness: for GOD is judge himself.
Psalm 50:5-6 KJV
Scripture Insight
The day will come when the LORD will call to Himself all the obedient saints who have been set apart (sanctified) by their covenant relationship with Christ Jesus. Only those who have received and accepted the Lord Christ Jesus will be declared righteous. GOD will judge the faithful in accordance to His statutes and the heavens shall declare his righteousness.
Those who desire to turn away from the Word of the GOD covenant breakers will find themselves on the Day of Judgment abandon; in the same manner they have neglected the LORD. The first law GOD commandment to Moses was to have no other gods before Him, Exodus 20:3. The law of the LORD is still in effect today and although we the Saints violate it in most cases with the things of the world or people, such as our children, spouse, parents, sibling, and friends we become the covenant breaker.
Let us be mindful at all times to seek first the Kingdom of the GOD and His righteousness; we will then begin to enjoy the rich blessings associated by our sacrifice. When we keep our mind on things above the heavenly things and lesson our appetite toward the worldly things which tend to consume us mentally, physically, spiritually and financially the heavens will declare His righteousness and GOD will receive all the Glory.
"Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity"
Psalm 132:1

Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
Psalm 107:15 KJV
Scripture Insight
When we search our memory and reflect on the things in life that the LORD has delivered us from and through we ought to give GOD praise. The 107th Psalm begins with these beautiful words of gratitude for such a loving and caring Father. "O give thanks unto the LORD, for He is good: for His mercy endureth for ever." Psalm 107:1
There is no questioning the wonderful works of the LORD for the children of men. GOD saw fit to send us the greatest gift mankind could ever receive and that was on the day Christ was born in the town of Bethlehem. Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness; Life as we knew it would never be the same when Grace was delivered to mankind wrapped in swaddling clothes. The Word of GOD became flesh, and dwelt among us as foretold by the Prophets.
Jesus Christ of Nazareth came to LOVE, HEAL and REDEEM mankind and He did this through many wonderful works. We the Children of GOD have been granted immunity for our sins along with eternal life through our faith in the Risen Savior. Oh that we would praise the LORD for the redeeming power of the Blood of Jesus Christ; and for His wonderful works to the children of men.

They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.
Psalm 125:1 KJV
Scripture Insight
We the Children of the Most High GOD who walk in the righteousness of Christ Jesus; those of us who trust in the LORD with all of our heart, mind and soul, will abide in the promise and protection of the GOD Almighty.
As we exercise the Faith we have in the LORD through Holy living, being ever so mindful to submit ourselves to the Will of GOD, He will be faithful to His Word as it is written: "For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity." Psalm 125:3
We have the promise of GOD that as long as we continue in righteousness and forsake operating in the iniquities of the world, not lending ourselves to sinful things or situations, GOD will protect us from the people who wish to harm us and tear down the name of Jesus.
"Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus." Philippians 2:5
In other words Saints we must have the same mind as that of Christ Jesus; we have to be about our Fathers business; and it is only what we do to bring glory to GOD that really matters.

The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.
Psalm 19:7
Scripture Insight
Beloved, the law of the LORD is perfect it embodies the Holiness of GOD, is free from corruption, and is the foundation for a lasting hope.
The Law of the LORD provides us with the opportunity to understand our sinful nature, and when adhered to it statutes will guide us to the path of righteousness. True godliness will cleanse our soul, and reveal through the precepts of GOD's Word His infinite wisdom of how to maintain living a righteous life in Christ Jesus. This abundant life promised by Christ which will be sweeter than the honey from the honeycombs, and richer than that of the finest gold.
However, when we transgress the commandments of GOD, and every time there is a violation of His law we fall short of glorifying GOD. When this occurs in the life of the Believer it is a deviation from that which we have been instructed to live according too. We have been given the assignment to carry out the will of the LORD for our lives.
Although, each of us have secret faults, the hidden things that only GOD knows we are embellish with; however, they must not hinder us from walking upright before GOD and man. When we hold fast to the truth of knowing our sins have been forgiven, and we embrace the perfect law of the LORD we are released from the corruption of the world and begin to establish the foundation of a lasting hope.
I Beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of GOD, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto GOD, which is your reasonable service. Romans12:1
We have a duty to live our lives in accordance to GOD's Word; this lifestyle will afford the Children of GOD to bring Glory to the Father as He reaps the benefit of our work in the fields. Beloved the harvest is plentiful and adhering to the perfect law of the LORD will win souls for the Kingdom.

The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
Psalm 27:1
Scripture Insight
King David the author of Psalm 27, I believe scribe these words of encouragement to reassure the reader of 27th Psalm that by putting our trust in the LORD we will conquer the many fears of life. The life of King David is an excellent example of a man who faced many fearful situations. As a Shepherd he fought and killed a bear, prior to reigning as King Of the Israel he faced the giant Goliath and slayed him. But this was just the beginning of the journey for King David. After David successfully defeated Goliath, King Saul became his biggest fear causing him to constantly be on the run for his life.
It is important for us the Children of GOD to know that we too must seek after the heart of GOD as the scripture refers to that of David. "And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfill all my will. Acts 13:22
David knew his life depended solely on the personal relationship he had with GOD, and regardless of his situation he could rest in knowing that the Lord GOD was his Salvation. During the weakest moments of his life David found that his faith in GOD was the only way he could continue to be strong enough to face them. King David showed us through his relationship with GOD that when we put our total trust in the LORD, the fears of this world will not consume us.
The question is as Children of the Most High GOD, Joint Heirs with Christ and Holy Spirit filled; why are we consumed and fear the things or the people in this world? We have a Risen Savior who has overcome the world. In the Sixteenth Chapter of John, Christ Jesus is encouraging the Disciples to face their fears; with these words of comfort; 31 Jesus answered them, "Do ye now believe? 32 Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me. 33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” John 16:31-33

Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of GOD.
1 John 5:5
Scripture Insight
We, who believe that Jesus is the Christ and the Son of GOD, love the Father and therefore also have love for GOD's children. This love is demonstrated by keeping GOD's commandments; to love the Lord GOD with all of our heart, mind and soul and that we love one another in the same manner that we love ourselves.
When we commit to this life we will be able to overcome the situations that arise in our lives, those things which attempt to consume our mind, attack body and corrupt our soul. But, GOD will keep us in His perfect peace, as we walk in the righteousness of His Son Christ Jesus. The scripture states in 1 John 5:4 "For whatever is born of GOD over cometh the world" We the believers must bear witness of Christ Jesus arriving in our lives, and know for certain that we are born of GOD and therefore live our life accordingly.
We who have been reconciled by the Son of GOD are blessed with the life of an overcomer and those who have not accepted this reconciliation have not this life. To put it plainly for clarification purposes, they are dead to the sins of this world and the ways of the World will consume them. But, the certainty of Jesus Christ is life and life more abundantly.
GOD's plan for our life is by far greater than that of man, He has given sufficient assurance to the world that Jesus Christ is His Son, the Son of His love, the Son of His righteousness, and the only one in whom the souls of man can be reconciled back to Him through.

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
John 3:16-17
Scripture Insight
Beloved do know that Love is both an attribute of GOD and a description of His Being. GOD alone is Divine Love and the source of Pure Love which can only be obtained through Christ Jesus the only begotten Son.
Christ Jesus embodies and demonstrates an "AGAPE LOVE" which has no conditions attached to it, but consistently seeks the highest good towards its recipient. The scripture reveals that GOD so loved the world that he gave His only begotten Son to a world He knew would mistreat him.
However, Jesus purpose for being sent was to save the world through His love and not to condemn the people’s behavior, but to teach and preach about a better way of living their life; the abundant life which consist of loving one another regardless of situation or circumstance, to embrace a mindset completely different from that which was given through the laws of Moses.
This is Good News message that we the Believer ought to be sharing with people every day and every chance we get. Tell someone that Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior came not to condemn them, but to offer them salvation through His Love. There is absolutely no other way to reach Our Heavenly Father except through the Only Begotten Son. Therefore this offer of Life and Salvation from GOD through Jesus Christ is sincere and will be manifested to all that by faith accept Him.

1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. 2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. 3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
1 John 2:1-3
Scripture Insight
Beloved, we have been instructed to live holy and flee from participating in the sins of this world. However, GOD knows that we are subject to fall, and because of this He sent us an advocate in the person and personality of Jesus Christ who is "The Righteous One".
We must understand that Christ was sent for the soul purpose to bridge the gap which separates man from GOD caused by the sins of this world. Jesus Christ is the gift given from GOD for the whole world to benefit from and through. In order to be a partaker in of the precious gift of GOD's righteousness, we must keep the established commandments implemented by Christ Jesus when He said: "Thou Shalt Love The Lord Thy GOD With All Thy Heart, And With All Thy Soul, And With All Thy Mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou Shalt Love Thy Neighbor As Thyself." Matthew 22:37-39
In other words we must love one another in the same manner in which GOD has shown His love towards us. His spoken word is true, and when we speak our word should also be true for those that hear them. When we abide in Christ and He abides in us, than we ought to walk as He walked in the light of Righteousness. The True Light which cast out all sins and darkness; the True Light that keeps us from stumbling or falling; the True Light that makes crooked roads straight and bumpy roads smooth. He is the True light that opens up blinded eyes, and shows us the truth through the perfect LOVE of Christ Jesus.
However, when we display hatred toward one another, we operate in darkness and the True Light of Jesus Christ does not abide in us and this my Sisters and Brothers will cause us to stumble and fall. Please understand an unrighteous person walks in the darkness of this world and until they have an encounter with the True Light of the World Jesus Christ the Righteous One they will not be able to walk in the light of righteousness.
Again my beloved Sisters and Brothers, Jesus was sent into the world by GOD for this purpose as He is recorded saying in the Book of Acts during Saul of Tarsus encountered with Him on the road to Damascus; "To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sin, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me." Acts 26:18
"Light will always cast out Darkness"

For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and His ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.
1 Peter 3:12
Scripture Insight
God takes special notice to what we say and what we do. His ears are attentive to the prayers of His children in their times of distress. God will come to the aid of His children when they are being unjustly treated by those mistreat them with evil intentions.
However, we must understand that humble behavior is recommended when we are faced with adversities, this is the best way to combat the suffering from them that harm you. When we the Born
Again Believer suffer for that which is good, our suffering is for the righteousness which is found in Christ Jesus. We bring glory to GOD as we are able to encourage others, and are willing to explain the reasons why we endure the hardships that come up against us. We must let those who ask us how we overcome that it is only because we have sanctify GOD in our heart, reverence Him, and submit to the wisdom of His Son so that we overcome those obstacles we face.
Having a good conscience and good conversation in Christ Jesus is the Holy Life in accordance to the Doctrine and example of Christ. We should not worry or be consumed with the false accusations from those who speak unjustly against us. Remember that Jesus was falsely accused also and this should become our "Badge of Honor" as the Children of GOD to suffer for well-doing. The people of the world reward the evil-doer and condemn the good. History has repeated itself and now we are living in a period of time when evil is good and good is considered evil.
But let me encourage the Faithful Servants of the Most High GOD; let Love be the driving force in your life and continue to walk in total obedience to GOD: For the wages of sin is death, but the Gift of GOD is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23
Jesus Christ Himself was not exempt from suffering in this life, and we know through scripture that He had neither guilt nor sin. If Jesus suffered to bring us to GOD, can we really expect not to suffer as we labor in this life of leading others to the saving knowledge of Christ Jesus?

Though I speak with the tongues of men and angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or tinkling cymbal.
1 Corinthians 13:1
Scripture Insight
We the (believer) can speak with great knowledge and importance, and sound so intellectual to mankind, however this does not impress or matter to GOD.
Without charity (love) from the heart, it would be better if we just kept our mouths shut; it profits us nothing with GOD. Without a heart of charity that is pure and genuine, it matters not if we possess the spiritual gift of Prophecy, Tongues, Wisdom, Interpretation or any other Spiritual blessing of GOD, without true charity (Love), it will profit us nothing with GOD.
We can have the most successful foodbank, provide shelter for the homeless, donate large quantities of money to charitable events, the word is crystal clear, without true charity (love) which comes from a heart that belongs to GOD, and these things are done in vain glory.
Love does not rejoice in sin, but in the truth, it endures all things life has to offer us, and never fails to overcome them. Charity does not boast itself, nor provokes others through evil deeds, it seeks only the best in all situations, believing there is always a better way.
When we receive and accept Christ Jesus (He who is perfect) as our Lord and Savior, that is when spiritual maturity begins. We will began to speak no more as little children, and we will than begin to cast away our childish behavior and way of life, and start to live the mature Christian adult life in the presence of GOD and before man.
As believers we have been instructed to abide in the greatest of the three Faith, Hope, and Charity. We must embrace and abide in Charity (Love); for GOD sees all and knows all, and face to face our
actions are known to Him.
"Without Charity (Love) We Are Nothing"

But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power upon earth to forgive sins, (he said unto the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy couch, and go into thine house.
Luke 5:24
Scripture Insight
Scriptures tells us that Jesus withdrew himself from the people to spend time in prayer; this was a daily practice in the life of Christ Jesus. He always prayed to the Father, especially before he would partake in any significant task.
Earlier text also states that Jesus was teaching in a crowded home and was privileged to have present Pharisees, and the Doctors of the Law (Scribes) there. The power and authority of GOD was upon Jesus as he preached and healed the people in attendance.
Because of the multitude of people, the home was overly crowded and a man being carried on his bed of affliction could not get into the house through the front door. So in order to get him in the presence of Jesus, the four men carried this man to the rooftop. They cut a hole in the roof and lowered the man with palsy down and in the presensence of Jesus. Christ seeing this act of kindness and said unto the man with palsy, because of their act of faith, your sins are forgiven.
The Pharisees and Scribes started discussing the words of Jesus quietly between themselves, stating that only GOD himself could forgive sins. And, howbeit that this man called Jesus would blaspheme in this manner. Jesus perceiving their thoughts answered their questions by saying to them is it better for me to forgive this man of his sins or to heal him of his affliction? So, just to show the Pharisees and Scribes the authority given Him through GOD the Father. Jesus not only forgives the man of his sins, but also healed him of his physical affliction; by telling the man to get up, take his bed and go home. After which the fear of the Lord came amongst the people and they began to glorify GOD for what they witness on that day.
When we come to know, understand and embrace the power and authority given to us the Children of the Most High GOD, we too will be able to release those that are bound with afflictions in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. For Christ Jesus himself have said that; 12 "I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works, because I am going to be with the Father. 13 You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father. 14 Yes, ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it! Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
1 John 4:7
Scripture Insight
The Spirit of truth is known by love and is of God. So let us the children of God love one another in the spirit of truth. Anyone that has not this love, has no relationship with God, and has only the knowledge of God.
When we think about the Majesty of God, the mystery the miracle of His divine love for us through His Son and Our Savior Christ Jesus, sent into the world just to die for our sins. To endure his body to being beaten beyond recognition, to have His soul wounded, His side pierced to the point that blood and water poured out, as He hung on the cross and die for us. Only to be taken off the cross buried and like most soon to be forgotten. GOD'S plan was not finished, HIS love for us is so overwhelming that He resurrected Christ from the grave, released Him from the sting of death for our benefit, that we may live a life abundant through Him.
What a wonderful thing to know, that God has such a love for us although at times we had and at times have no love for Him. We are totally undeserving, polluted in our thoughts, unclean in our ways, and in need of having our sinful souls washed in the blood of the Lamb. The Grace we have and mercy we received from GOD through his Son Jesus, is almost inconceivable, and are a true privilege to be a partaker of.
So let us love one another as God has so graciously loves us. If we say we love GOD in whom we cannot physically see and have no love toward one another whom we can see, then GOD dwells neither in us, nor we in Him.
Let love be our weapon of mass destruction it will destroy everything that rises up against it. For there is nothing stronger, deeper or wider than Love, and when we embrace the love of GOD, (Christ Jesus) we become swollowed up in His victory at Calvary.

And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That Man Shall Not Live By Bread Alone, But By Every Word Of God.
Luke 4:4
Scripture Insight
We see in this verse of scripture Jesus having a conversation with the evil one (Satan) during the time Jesus was in the wilderness. Scripture reveals to us the Spirit lead or guided Jesus into the wilderness and that He was full of the Holy Ghost. The word of God also states that Jesus did not eat anything for forty days during the time He spent in there.
However on the last day when Jesus was finishing the forty day wilderness journey that devil approached him with a proposition and attempted to persuade Christ to change stone into bread in order to satisfy his apparent hunger. Jesus being filled with the Holy Ghost was able to discern the tactics of Satan and fought him off by using the Word of God as His weapon by quoting the scripture that was recorded during the wilderness journey of Moses and the Children of Israel.
In the Book of Deuteronomy Chapter Eight these words are spoken; “ And thou shall remember all the way which the LORD the God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no. And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live.” Deuteronomy 8:2-3
There will be times when we the Believer are tempted to do things that are contrary to the Word of GOD, when people approach us with proposition that will lead us down the path of destruction. It is at these times that we ought to rely on the Holy Spirit to lead, guide and direct us. There will also be times when we the Children of GOD will have to do as Christ Jesus did and use the Word of GOD to combat the enemy and remind them: “That we do not just live for the material things of this world but by every Commandment, Standard, and Word that proceeded out of the mouth of Our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus."

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
John 14:6
Scripture Insight
In this verse of scripture Jesus is answering Thomas question with regards to where Christ was going and how the Disciples were to get there. This question was asked by Thomas after Christ Jesus had spent time with His disciples chatting while partaking in the “Feast of the Passover” or what is better known as the Last Supper.
Jesus was explaining to His disciples that He had to leave and go prepare a place for them, but that He would return to receive them unto Himself. However, the disciples were having a hard time understanding that Christ was foretelling the future event of the sacrificing of His life on the Cross for the sin of mankind in this world.
He answered Thomas by saying these four powerful statements as recorded in John 14:6 “I Am the Way, the Truth, and the Life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” Well with that being said, It is my responsibility to inform you that “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today and forever” Hebrews 13:8. He is the only way to an abundant life, nothing has changed from the time of the Disciples until now.
We have just entered into the Year 2016, and for many of us we have made a "NewYear Resolution".
Let me encourage you to change your New Year Resolution to a "New Year Revelation." Our time is drawing closer than we think or want to believe, however what should really matter to us this year is the Truth. The Way has already been established for us in the Life of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. So let not your hearts be troubled by anything happening in this world today, whether it is the threats of ISIS or just the everyday things which consume us. When we continue to seek first the Kingdom of GOD and His righteousness, which can only be found in His Son Christ Jesus; we will than be able to embrace and enjoy the "New Year Revelation" of GOD's Amazing Grace on our life.

18 And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethern, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers. 19 And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. 20 And they straightway left their nets, and followed him.
Matthew 4:18-20
Scripture Insight
Beloved, Jesus came preaching the same message as John the Baptist, confirming the message that John was his Ambassador. However, the ministry of Jesus Christ has an eternal life benefit when you come back to God through the Son.
The text tell us that Jesus chose his first four disciples to follow Him as he begun ministering to the people. These were ordinary men, fisherman to be exact, not well educated and with mediocre means. However, they all had one thing in common aside from being fishermen. They were obedient to the call of the Lord. Just like Abraham, they heard the voice of the Lord, left everything and everyone. The life they were familiar with and accustom too, to follow Christ without hesitation.
And as Jesus went about teaching, preaching and healing all manner of illness and diseases, He developed a large following of people, the word says, multitude of people. Leads me to wonder about these people who followed Jesus, was it because they were after eternal life, or did they just want to be a part of the crowd.
Let us examine ourselves; First, what did we give-up, leave behind, or walk away from when we were called by Jesus; Secondly, are we really following Jesus, or are we just apart of the Church crowd; Lastly, the word is clear and without question for those of us who say we answered the call.
When Jesus was ask the question let me bury my father, and the other said let me bid farewell to my family, Jesus said unto them "Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God." Luke 9:60 and, "No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back is fit for the kingdom of God." Luke 9:62 and "Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men." Matthew 4:19

I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.
Jeremiah 17:10
Scripture Insight
Beloved, the Prophet Jeremiah writes in verse nine of this Chapter of scripture that; the human heart is the most deceitful of all things and desperately wicked. Who really knows how bad it is? (New Living Translation) However, the Lord GOD Almighty searches our hearts and He knows our motives and the intentions we have towards Him and His people better than we do.
Valentine's Day in the United States of America is a day set aside for people to embrace their Heart felt love toward one another. It has become like other U.S. Holidays too commercialized and there is pressure for most to display a false sense of love. This is not the sincere love that follows effortlessly from heart to heart, but a forced since of obligation solely based on the expectations we have place on us by society.
However, for the Children of the Most High GOD, everyday should be Valentine's Day for us, why you might ask, simply because we embody the LOVE of GOD in us; Jesus Christ the Son of GOD the one sent to show us how to truly LOVE one another.
The Prophet Jeremiah states that GOD will judge everyone according to the deeds of their ways; this means that we the people of GOD cannot hide our true intentions or motives from the LORD. With GOD our lives are transparent before Him we may be capable of masking our true selves from others. But at the end of the day we have to face our Awesome, Almighty, and All Knowing Father who really knows His Creation. To those of us who belong to the Household of Faith every day is about the Matters of the Heart.

And we know that the Son of GOD is come, and hath given us an under-
standing, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true GOD, and eternal life.
1 John 5:20
Scripture Insight
Beloved, as believers of the Son of GOD who is Christ Jesus, we should have confidence and be encouraged, knowing that eternal life is preserved for the children of GOD. This privilege we have as children of GOD comes with the assurance that when we petition GOD in prayer, he hears our prayers.
Do know that GOD will answer prayers in his own time and according to His divine will for us, and for our own good. When we see a fallen sister or brother, we should move into prayer on their behalf, knowing that we have the ability through Christ Jesus to restore life unto them. However, for the unbelieving, their situations requires us to pray for them to repent and receive the truth, which is Jesus Christ to become their personal Savior.
We know the wickedness that exists in this world, and we see this unrighteousness that happens day after day. Whether in our communities, in our place of employment, or our Nations Government; do know that we will participate on one of two teams, one belonging to GOD, and the other Wickedness. However, thank GOD for sending us his Son, who has granted us the opportunity to be removed from the sin and destruction of the world’s way of living.
Christ Jesus has given to those that desire the truth, revelation knowledge, and understanding of how to live through Him and gain eternity. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6

But the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD: He is their strength in the time of trouble.
Psalm 37:39
Scripture Insight
Beloved, salvation is reserved for the Children of Righteousness and only the Lord GOD Almighty has the authority or express right to determine who receives adoption into His exclusive Family. We the Born Again Believers were given a Lord and Savior Christ Jesus who is all too familiar with the process of adoption considering that He was the adopted son of Joseph his earthly Father.
The Word of GOD states this truth in the First Chapter of Ephesians; 5 "GOD decided in advance to adopt us into His own family by bringing us to Himself through Jesus Christ. This is what He wanted to do, and it gave Him great pleasure. 6 "So we praise GOD for the glorious grace he has poured out on to us who belong to His dear Son. Ephesians 1:5-6 NLT
Nevertheless, we who belong to Christ will have the advantage over the world and the challenges of this life. GOD said in the end of Psalm 37:39 He is our strength in the time of trouble; we can rest on these words from the LORD. The Bible is filled with the precedence of the LORD GOD Almighty fulfilling His promises for the Chosen and Adopted Children.
We can look at the lives of Adam and Eve, Noah, Moses, Abraham, Jacob, Rachel, Joseph, King David, Apostle Peter, Apostle Paul, and Philip the greatest example of a Deacon just to name a few; but the best example of the living proof is you and me. We can reflect on a time when the LORD was there to strengthen us during our times of trouble. But, here is the good news for the Children of Adoption: "And the LORD, He it is that doth go before thee; He will be with thee, He will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed." Deuteronomy 31:8
