The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my GOD, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.
Psalm 18:2
Scripture Insight
Beloved, King David was expressing his gratitude to the LORD GOD Almighty for delivering him from the hand of the enemy; for providing him shelter, strength, protection and being his leader in whom he greatly trusted.
We too ought to stand firm on the saving grace of the LORD Jesus Christ our Solid Rock knowing that; "GOD is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble." Psalm 46:1 So when the storms of life come upon us we are able to combat them in the strength of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Do know that we have the assurance that GOD will never leave us nor forsake us; and He will be our fortress, shield and protection from the forces of evil running ramped in this world.
Because the LORD delighted in him, was rewarded according to his righteousness of clean hands. This truth can be found recorded in Psalm Chapter Eighteen verses Sixteen thru Twenty. As King David who was drawn out of many waters and delivered from the strong enemy the Adopted Children of GOD we also have benefitted from being drawn out of the water and delivered from the strong enemy of GOD through our Baptism in Christ Jesus.
When we truly have an encounter with Jesus Christ the Son of GOD, we like King David will be able to say GOD is my Strength, my High Tower, my Buckler, my Deliverer, my Fortress, my Rock, in whom I will trust, He is the horn of my Salvation, but most of all, GOD is the Lover of my Soul.

Know ye that the LORD he is GOD: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
Psalm 100:3
Scripture Insight
Beloved, when we fully understand and grasp the dynamics of the GOD who is the creator and sustainer of the universe; the one who has crafted and molded us in His image, it is at this vital point in our faith walk that the fear of the LORD will be manifested in us. We will then embrace the importance of this Psalm as we; "Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise: be thankful unto Him, and bless His name." Psalm 100:4
We should always come before the presence of GOD with singing songs of praise, honoring Him for the favor of being grafted into His chosen family of the Sanctified Sheep of His pasture. We have to come to terms that it was GOD Almighty who made us, not only in flesh, and spirit, but He gave us a soul to reason and to make choices. We have the express freedom to choose right or wrong, yes or no, to do good or to do evil.
However, the great servant of GOD Joshua stated: 14 "So fear the LORD and serve him wholeheartedly. Put away forever the idols your ancestors worshiped when they lived beyond the Euphrates River and in Egypt. Serve the LORD alone. 15 But if you refuse to serve the LORD, then choose today whom you will serve. Would you prefer the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates? Or will it be the gods of the Amorites in whose land you now live? But as for me and my family, we will serve the LORD." Joshua 24:14-15 NLT (New Living Translation)
Know that the LORD, he is GOD and there is no GOD above Him or greater. As the songwriter says Nobody Greater, Stronger or Wiser; who would not want to praise and worship a GOD such as Him. The Great I AM...

When a man's ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.
Proverbs 16:7
Scripture Insight
Beloved, GOD created man in His image for the purpose of fellowship with Him. Man was given the perfect palace, the Garden of Eden in which GOD furnished with everything that was needed to sustain a healthy lifestyle. GOD was pleased with His creation of man during this time and was in constant communication with man because of his innocent and sinless lifestyle.
However when man defied the command of GOD by being disobedient, this act of sinful behavior separated us from having a direct personal relationship with GOD; But GOD had a back-up plan for us knowing that we would become disobedient. Therefore GOD sent His Son and Our Savior Jesus Christ to redeem us from the life of sin and give us the opportunity to once again be in fellowship with Him and to live our life pleasing in His sight.
It is hard to imagine that few people walk the straight path of righteousness which in in Christ Jesus, but choose to go down the broad road that leads to destruction. 13 "Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it." Matthew 7:13-14
Those who are on the straight and narrow path of righteousness, GOD'S hands are on their lives and He will provide them with Peace, Provision, Protection and Promise. The promise of GOD is in the Truth of His Word; "But in the coming day no weapon turned against you will succeed. You will silence every voice raised up to accuse you. These benefits are enjoyed by the servants of the LORD; their vindication will come from me. I the LORD, have spoken!" Isaiah 54:17 NLT

The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way. Psalm 37:23
Scripture Insight
Beloved, when we look at the accounts of the lives of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, and the Prophets of the Old Testament we see a common denominating factor in their lives. They were all given Divine Direction from GOD. The Lord GOD Almighty delighted in these Men as they followed in obedience His directions for their lives.
The scriptures bare record of the outcome for each of their journeys and the specific assignments that GOD had orchestrated for them to do. We as the Adopted Children of GOD through His Son Christ Jesus have to receive the revelation of the Word of GOD to clearly see that we too have an assignment to fulfill that is specifically tailored for us.
It is with the utmost urgency that we incline our ears to hear from the LORD, to seek His Divine Direction and to know with certainty that we are in the proper position in the Body of Christ in this Season.
"But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you." Christ Jesus said these words: John 14:26
When we incline ourselves to seek first the Kingdom of GOD, when Prayer, Fasting, and studying the Word of GOD becomes the lifestyle of the Believer, GOD will be delighted in the life that we have chosen to live by Trusting in Him and HE will direct our paths.

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
Psalm 119:105
Scripture Insight
Beloved, the Word of GOD must be a lamp (the source) which lights the pathway for the Children of the Most High GOD throughout their journey. When we receive instructions through GOD'S Word, it will provide us with revelation and manifestation. Revelation can only be received through an encounter with The Holy Spirit of GOD. The conversion of the Word of GOD in our heart and mind
will certainly become a lamp unto our feet and a guiding light unto our path that will bring us into all knowledge and truth.
This lamp that lights our path was sent to us on the Day of Pentecost as promised by Christ Jesus to the Disciples when these words of comfort were spoken: 7 "But in fact, it is best for you that I go away, because if I don't, the Advocate won't come. If I do go away, then I will send him to you. 8 And when he comes, he will convict the world of its sin, and of GOD'S righteousness, and of the coming judgment. 9 The world's sin is that it refuses to believe in me. 10 Righteousness is available because I go to the Father, and you will see me no more. 11 Judgment will come because the ruler of this world has already been judged. 12 There is so much more I want to tell you, but you can't bear it now. 13 When the Spirit of Truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own but will tell you what he has heard. 14 He will bring me glory by telling you whatever he receives from me. 15 All that belongs to the Father is mine; this is why I said, The Spirit will tell you whatever he receives from me." John 16:7-15
In this year of Release let receive from Liberty from Christ Jesus through the Spirit of Truth, and be set free from the things in life that have consumed our mind, body and soul, and allow the Love of GOD through His Son and Our Savior Jesus Christ to guide us throughout the illuminated path of Righteousness for His name sake.

Come and hear, all ye that fear the GOD, and I will declare what he hath done for my soul.
Psalm 66:16
Scripture Insight
Beloved, as Born Again Believer's our testimony should be one that declares GOD'S Glory and how He has delivered our Soul's from the pathway to Hell unto the path of Righteousness which is in His Son and Our Savior Christ Jesus. We should know that one of our responsibilities as Children of the Most High GOD we should be reconciling Souls back to GOD.
Meaning our testimony (story) of how we were living an ungodly sinful life until we encountered the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ must be shared with those who fear (are afraid) of GOD. There are many people who will benefit from our sharing the details of what it takes to live a life dedicated to doing the Will of GOD. The scripture's declare in Matthew 9th Chapter; 37 Then saith he unto his disciples, "The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; 38 Pray ye therefore the LORD of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into the harvest." Matthew 9:37-38
We have the awesome responsibility to tell the story of how redemption came into our live as we walk amongst the people to be harvest. We must take the same measures as the Apostle Paul after He encountered Christ Jesus on the road to Damascus when Christ sent Paul on a ministry mission: "To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness unto light, and from the power of Satan unto GOD, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me." Acts 26:18
We need to tell the Good News to those that are fearful of GOD of how the LORD provided for us the Way back to Him, the Truth in Him, and the Life of Righteousness, through His Son Jesus Christ the redeemer our Souls.

In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness.
Psalm 31:1
Scripture Insight
Beloved, there are many Scriptures in the Bible which compel us to put our trust in the LORD. We will find in the very center of the Bible these words written for us: "It is better to put trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man." Psalm 118:8
How many times have we put our trust and confidence in others or have someone put their trust in us only to be disappointed or become ashamed of their behavior or our own. This same feeling of betrayal felt during those times is the same ways we make the LORD GOD Almighty feel about us when we operate in iniquity. But thank GOD for Jesus Christ the Righteousness of GOD for in Him are we delivered into a right standing with GOD.
"There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit." Romans 8:1 As the Children of the Most High GOD we must always be in the mindset that regardless of our mistakes or whenever we fall short of the glory of GOD; we have an advocate in Christ Jesus and because we belong to Him we are seen as Righteous in GOD'S eyes.
Therefore when we put our trust in the Almighty GOD, He will deliver us from the enemies of the body of Christ in the same manner that He did for the Saints in the days of Moses when the LORD GOD used the Prophet Moses to utter these words to the Children of Israel: "Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you today: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen today, ye shall see them again no more for ever." Exodus 14:13

Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: let such as love thy salvation say continually, The LORD be magnified.
Psalm 40:16
Scripture Insight
Beloved, there is a song written that says: Oh magnify the LORD for He is worthy to be praised, Hosanna blessed be the Rock, Blessed be the Rock of my Salvation. This is one of those songs that should be continually in the heart and on the tongue of the Believer.
When we magnify the LORD through our praise and our worship experiences with one another we will draw to the Kingdom the people who are seeking to have a relationship with Christ Jesus. "And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, I will draw all men unto me." (John 12:32) Beloved when Jesus was in the process of being crucified and there were many people around witnessing this monumental event, and these were the words spoken by Christ Jesus to them.
When the Son of GOD is magnified by the Children of the Most High GOD there is something that happens in the atmosphere. The presence of GOD will be manifested and His anointing power will then began to transform the hearts of the people and touch the souls of those seeking to develop a relationship with His Son Jesus Christ.
When this transformation happens in the lives of the people, we the Children of GOD should begin the celebration, because the Kingdom of Heaven has increased in its population. Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee, for salvation is the greatest treasure we could ever inherit. Oh Magnify the LORD for He is Worthy to be Praised.

Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.
Psalm 19:14
Scripture Insight
Beloved, these words have been uttered by many who proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ during their opening prayer prior to beginning to preach their sermon. We may have recited these words ourselves in prayer at some point in our life; however I assure you that we said this phase primarily because it sounds good to the hearer, and makes us seem to be so spiritual. But I am convinced that the majority of times this scripture was quoted, it was done as sounding brass and tinkling cymbals; having little to no meaning or thought at all just nice sounding biblical words.
As Children of the Most High GOD, we must understand that the words of our mouth will do one of two things, they will either bring forth blessings or it will orchestrate curses. "Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof." Proverbs 18:21
When we look at the heart GOD'S Word tells us that: "The human heart is the most deceitful of all things and desperately wicked. Who really knows how bad it is." Jeremiah 17:9 NLT
The truth of the matter is that as the proclaimers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and a Born Again Believer we must be careful to not spew out of our mouths frivolous words that are meaningless and deadly. They must always be acceptable in the sight of our LORD, because GOD knows our heart and understands our intentions better than we do ourselves. If we expect GOD to be our strength and redeemer, His ear has to be incline to hear us from Heaven; this can only happen when we operate in humility, and in the same mindset as Christ Jesus.

The LORD is righteous in all His ways, and Holy in all His works.
Psalm 145:17
Scripture Insight
Beloved, when we look at the ways of the LORD there are times that we question the things that He allows to take place in our lives and in the world in general. We ask ourselves why GOD would allow the innocent lives of people to be taken away by senseless murders, children violated by predators, the family structure eroding from the lack of compassion, the Ordinance of Marriage being altered from our society with the implementation of same sex couples, and the world at large in such an unstable and chaotic condition.
However we know that GOD is Sovereign (supreme authority), Omnipotent (all power), Omniscient (knowing everything), and therefore GOD'S ways and thoughts are much higher than ours as stated by scripture; 8"My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts says the LORD. And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. 9 For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts." Isaiah 55:8-9 NLT
We ought to know with certainty that GOD is Holy in all His works, so much so that the angels in Heaven sing praises to honor the Purity and Glory of GOD. "And one cried unto another, and said Holy, Holy, Holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory. Isaiah 6:3
We the Children of Redemption those who have been washed with the Blood of the Lamb, Children of the Most High GOD, we who are the Glory of GOD; for this reason we are to present our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy, and acceptable unto GOD which is are reasonable duty. When we look at the difficult things happening in the world and we want to question the reason why, just understand that GOD is Righteous in his ways and Holy in all His works. If it is chaos and confusion it is not of GOD, however the LORD will allow things to take place for a reason just ask GOD this question: Why?

For the LORD taketh pleasure in His people: He will beautify the meek with salvation.
Psalm 149:4
Scripture Insight
Beloved, the most wonderful thing about being in the Household of Faith is having the knowledge and assurance of knowing that the Lord GOD Almighty takes pleasure in the Chosen People of GOD. There are many instances recorded in the Scriptures which verify how the LORD provides, protects and prospers His own.
Even in the midst of a storm or when the enemy of GOD'S chosen is experiencing the inflictions of undue treatment or punishment, GOD will ultimately deliver us from our bondage or any of the situations we find ourselves in. In the case with Moses and the Children of Israel we see GOD at work when He delivered them from the hands of Egyptians: 13" But Moses told the people, Don't be afraid. Just stand still and watch the LORD rescue you today. The Egyptians you see today will never be seen again. 14 The LORD himself will fight for you. Just stay calm." Exodus 14:13-14 NLT
The LORD truly takes pleasure in us the Born Again Believers, those of us who have chosen to accept His Son Jesus Christ as LORD and Savior. To them who are the meek and lowly, GOD will delight in; He will commune with them and the favor of the LORD will He place upon them.
When we look at the story of how the LORD rescued the Sailors who were with the Apostle Paul we see the favor of GOD resting upon the Man of GOD Paul the Apostle who happen to have been shipwreck on three different occasions; one of which is recorded in the Book of Acts Chapter Twenty-Seven: 30"Then the soldiers tried to abandon the ship; they lowered the lifeboat as though they were going to put out anchors from the front of the ship. 31 But Paul said to the commanding officer and the soldiers, You will all die unless the sailors stay aboard. 32 So the soldiers cut the ropes to the lifeboat and let it drift away." Act 27:30-32 NLT
The story ends with all the sailors being saved who listen and trusted the word of the anointed Man of GOD; The LORD honors the prayers of the righteous, and His Salvation comes to those who trust and have faith in Him.

O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: It is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.
Jeremiah 10:23
Scripture Insight
Beloved, the Prophet Jeremiah started this prayer by acknowledging to the LORD that he knows we have to depend on GOD directing our lives. Jeremiah understood the importance of doing things in accordance to the way of the LORD. He went further in his prayer asking for GOD to gently correct any of his misguided ways, and for the LORD to pour out His wrath on the nations who refused to acknowledge Him and also who do not call upon the name of the LORD. Here in the 10th Chapter of Jeremiah, we find the people of Israel falling into idol worship. Jeremiah tried warning the people of Israel to not act like the other nations, looking to get predictions from the Astrologers. He also told them not to be afraid of the predictions although others nations were terrified by them.
Jeremiah tried reinforcing their belief in the One and only True GOD, explaining that Our GOD is a living GOD and the everlasting King; the one True GOD who created everything by His awesome power including them, His own special possession. Jeremiah informed the Israelites that on the Day of Judgment everyone and everything will be destroyed, especially those false gods and worthless idols crafted by man.
As the Children of the Most High GOD we should embrace the season we are in now and learn from the missteps of the Children of Israel. When we submit our lives to the Authority of GOD to do His will and not our own; when we clearly see the past failures of these defiant people of Israel and how not walking in the obedience to GOD cost them millions of their lives.
We will hopefully reach a decision in our lives today to wait on the LORD and be of good courage. GOD'S Will for the lives of His Chosen People is a perfect plan full of promise and hope. "For I know the plans I have for you, say the LORD. They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope." Jeremiah 29:11 (NLT)

13These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of GOD; that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of GOD. 14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will he heareth us.
1 John 5:13-14
Scripture Insight
Beloved, as believers of the Son of GOD who is Christ Jesus, we should have confidence and be encouraged, knowing that eternal life is preserved for the children of GOD. This privilege we have as children of GOD comes with the assurance that when we petition GOD in prayer, he hears our prayers.
Do know that GOD will answer prayers in his own time and according to His divine will for us, and for our own good. When we see a fallen sister or brother, we should move into prayer on their behalf, knowing that we have the ability through Christ Jesus to restore life unto them. However, for the unbelieving, their situations requires us to pray for them to repent and receive the truth which is Jesus Christ; and for Him to become their personal Savior.
We know the wickedness that exists in this world, and we see this unrighteousness that happens day after day. Whether it is in our communities, in our place of employment, or our Nations Government, do know that we are divided into two parties, one belonging to GOD, and the other Wickedness.
Thank GOD for sending us his Son Christ Jesus, who has granted us the opportunity to be removed from the sin and destruction of the world’s way of living. Through Jesus Christ those who desire will be given the truth, revelation knowledge, and the understanding of how to live a righteous lifestyle which pleases GOD our Father through Him. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6

3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask God, that giveth to all men liberaly, and unabraideth not; and it shall be given him.
James 1:3-5
Scripture Insight
Beloved, the Child of GOD must count it all joy when situations arise in our lives and challenge our belief, tempt us to react as oppose to respond, to make hasty decisions without seeking GOD.
Do know that the non-believer is well aware of our situation and our responses to the circumstances we face; and they pay close attention to our conversation and actions. During these crucial moments in our life, we must let patience have her perfect work in us. When we accept that which GOD allows afflicting us, and continue to rejoice and praise GOD during the process; then GOD is glorified, our faith will increase and our testimony is true.
When we were as little children and we went to our parents with our problems, they would ask us these questions "what would you like us to do; or how can we fix this for you?" This same approach applies today, as Children of The Most High GOD we must go before Our Heavenly Father in the name of Christ Jesus not so much for removal of our affliction, but for the wisdom of GOD to enable us to make sound decisions with regards to the circumstances we are facing.
When we humble ourselves in the presence of GOD, our Heavenly Father will honor the prayers of His children, and make the necessary provision for us. Christ Jesus said "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek and you shall find; knock and it shall be opened unto you" Matthew 7:7
"Let patience have her perfect work in us"

The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and He knoweth them that trust in Him.
Nahum 1:7 KJV
Scripture Insight
Beloved, GOD is good and a refuge in the time of trouble. Whenever the storms of life arise in the life of the true believer GOD said he is our shelter, and our provider to those who trust in Him. Let us look at the story of Abraham and Sarah, they were promised a child by GOD, and after many years of wanting and waiting GOD delivered on His promise and Sarah gave birth to Isaac. Then the test of faith came to them when GOD spoke to Abraham and instructed him offer his son Isaac as a sacrifice.
Now, because GOD knows those who trust in Him, He knew Abraham would submit to His will even though it appeared to be unfair for GOD to make such a demanding and cruel request of Abraham. "And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah: and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of." Genesis 22:2 KJV
We all know the outcome of the story how GOD had a ram in the bush to substitute for Isaac; GOD provided for Abraham in his time of trouble, and He will do the same for us His chosen. Our faith and trust in GOD will move Him to act on our behalf.

I will seek that which was lost, and bring again that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick: but I will destroy the fat and the strong; I will feed them with judgment.
Ezekiel 34:16
Scripture Insight
Beloved, ever since the fall of man in the Garden of Eden, GOD has sought to restore His relationship with the lost souls. These words express by the Prophet Ezekiel in this verse of scripture explains the very nature of why GOD sent to us His Son Christ Jesus. Scripture reveals Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ came to reconcile the lost, however while Christ was with us in the flesh He also healed the sick, gave sight to the blind along with raising some from the dead.
The Prophet Ezekiel declared that GOD would destroy the fat (rich) and strong (powerful) and feed them with judgment. We have witnessed many rich and powerful people having their lives destroyed primarily due to their arrogant ways, and if they do not come to the saving knowledge of Christ Jesus they will surely be feed the judgment of GOD which is eternal separation better known as hell.
Jesus Christ is the only one who can bridge the gap caused by man's fall from Grace into the sins of this world, the sickness and brokenness that manifest itself through unrighteous living. We have the responsibility as Born again Believers, as Sons and Daughters of Most High GOD, and as Christ Ambassadors to comfort the hurting and broken hearted, pray for the wounded, testify of our lively hope of the glory of GOD. To lead the way to Christ Jesus who is Our LORD and Savior.

Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse; A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the LORD your GOD, which I command you this day: And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the LORD your GOD, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known.
Deuteronomy 11:26-28 KJV
Scripture Insight
Beloved, in these verses of scripture GOD is revealing to the Children of Israel that He will provide them with divine blessings if they obey the laws established by Him or receive divine punishment if they choose not to follow the established laws (commandments). The LORD GOD is warning the Israelites that there will be consequences for seeking and following after other gods in whom they have no personal relationship with and have not known.
The same applies to the Church today; we the Children of the Most High GOD must understand the choice is a clear one. We can either choose to follow Jesus Christ and be richly blessed or the gods of this world in whom there is no redemption or salvation.
As believers in the resurrected Savior Jesus Christ we the Children of Grace were given two commandments to follow; Jesus said unto him, "Thou shall love the LORD thy GOD with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shall love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets." Matthew 22:37-40 KJV

Search me, O GOD, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
Psalms 139:23-24 KJV
Scripture Insight
Beloved, these verses of scripture refer to the prayer from King David asking GOD to search his heart for the wickedness that lies in it, and to search his thoughts because they are not always pure. However, David asked GOD to lead him in the way of the everlasting life. Do know that King David understood the significant of maintaining a spiritual relationship with the LORD GOD Almighty and he would always pray for forgiveness no matter what sinful behavior he committed. King David also realized that he had impure thoughts which also lead him to ask for GOD'S direction.
Our prayers should be similar to that of King David, we should ask GOD to search our heart, mind and soul. We cannot deceive the LORD GOD, we cannot escape Him and most certainly we cannot ignore His presence in us no matter how hard we try.
So the question then is why is it so difficult to be obedient to His Word? and why do we dispute and reject what is said to us through the written Word of GOD when it directly deals with our situations. My prayer Father for your Children LORD is for the Word in these verses of scripture to penetrate the inner spirit man. Father search the hearts and minds of your chosen for your word is truth:
"Thou wilt keep thee in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength." Isaiah 26:3-4 KJV

Seek the LORD and His strength, seek His face continually. Remember His marvellous works that He hath done, His wonders, and the judgments of His mouth.
1 Chronicles 16:11-12 KJV
Scripture Insight
Beloved, these verses of scripture in 1 Chronicles Chapter 16 allude to the fact that seeking the LORD is a matter of the disposition of our heart. When we place the LORD GOD first in all of our decisions in life, His wonders will appear and marvelous things will start to take place. I encourage the Church (People in Christ Jesus) to put ever effort forth to seek the face of GOD before choosing to make any decisions large or small, and watch the LORD move on behalf of His obedient Children.
King Saul was a person who started out seeking the face of GOD and His directions but lost the his focus and began to seek the advice of mediums rather than the Lord. As a result of the decision made by King Saul he lost the kingdom and eventually his life. Anytime we the Church fail to make GOD the number one source of information as it pertains to the direction for our lives, we will surely fail and in all cases we are spiritually dead.
Moses sought the face of the LORD on the Mount Sinai forty days and forty nights and the residual effect of him being in the presence of the LORD showed on the face of Moses. "When Moses came down Mount Sinai carrying the two stone tablets inscribed with the terms of the covenant, he wasn't aware that his face had become radiant because he had spoken to the LORD." Exodus 34:29 NLT
We will only receive the Glory of the LORD when we seek His face continually, GOD will make His presence known in us the obedient Children of the LORD; just as he did with King David, and his son Solomon who later became King. They chose to seek the face and the direction of the LORD and they saw marvelous works and wonders from GOD. However, when they refused to abide in GOD'S will for their life, the judgment of GOD was their result. The word of the LORD is true, if we keep our minds focused on the LORD, He in turn will keep us in what is known as Perfect Peace.

Who is wise, and he shall understand these things? prudent, and he shall know them? for the ways of the LORD are right, and the just shall walk in them: but the transgressors shall fall therein.
Hosea 14:9
Scripture Insight
Beloved, Hosea was the Prophet in whom GOD allowed to feel His heart for His people on a deeper level. To bring more insight into why this is being said, let us look at the relationship Hosea had with his wife Gomer.
She was unfaithful in her marriage to Hosea on numerous occasions and did it without a bit of repentance. Scripture reveals that Hosea's relationship with his wife was parallel in comparison to GOD'S relationship with the children of Israel. GOD'S heart felt love for His chosen people seem to never result in their faithfulness towards Him, as was with Hosea's marriage to Gomer. When we the Children of the Most High GOD operate in wisdom and understanding, there is only one outcome available to us and that is obedience. Hosea was an obedient servant of GOD, although his personal life was in shambles, it did not stop him from carrying out the assignment GOD called him to do. Hosea lived by his faith in GOD, and not by what he saw taking place around him and too him. The word of the LORD says: "Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith." Habakkuk 2:4
As the Children of the Lord GOD Almighty we should also live a prudent life, using the wisdom and understanding GOD has provided us through His Word. Always walking by faith and not by sight; embracing the truth which is the WORD that became flesh the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He is the way of the LORD as recorded in the Gospel of John; Jesus said unto him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh to the Father, but by me." John 14:6
The transgressors (rebellious) will perish, for the wages of sin, rebelling against the Word of GOD; unrighteous living is death, eternal separation from HIM. However, the gift of GOD is eternal life through His Son Christ Jesus.

Also I heard the voice of the LORD saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.
Isaiah 6:8
Scripture Insight
Beloved, GOD is having a conversation with the Prophet Isaiah and poses the question who should He send on an assignment that would be willing to go for Him. We need to understand the deeper meaning to this question GOD asked Isaiah. We know GOD is omniscient (all knowing) so with that being said GOD already had the answer before the question was posed to Isaiah.
When was the last time GOD proposed an assignment to us while in conversation with Him? Did we say the same thing as the Prophet Isaiah, "Here am I; send me." Let it be known the only way we would be able to go is if we were sent by GOD. This would require us to be able to hear the voice of the LORD as did the Prophet Isaiah. Do know that GOD still speaks to His own; there are several ways that He communicates with us. So I urge the Church to incline their ear to hear from the LORD especially in "The Year of Release."
GOD is calling on those today that He can trust to go for Him to teach and preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ; 13"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the LORD shall be saved. 14 How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? 15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!" Romans 10:13-15
